In preparation for our fall show, I’ve arranged several Beatles songs:
‘Magical Mystery Tour’ is combined with ‘Your Mother Should Know’ to serve as our performance opener.
I’ve also completed an arrangement of ‘If I Fell’ for one of our chapter quartets. It’s such a beautiful song and will be a gem to perform!
Quality learning tracks for all of the available are available from Shayna (shaynasings@hotmail.com).
I just finished arrangements to these two Beatles songs. The can be sung separately or sung back-to-back as a medley. As the Fab Four gave their first American performance in Feb 1964, I will be arranging a variety of their songs to perform on our chorus’ annual show which will celebrate their 50 year anniversary.
I’ve just updated my arrangement of ‘Undecided.’ This is a classic jazz piece which make a great addition to quartet and chorus repertoire. My arrangement incorporates elements from performances by Ella Fitzgerald.
I just received clearance for this fun uptune, an iconic Whitney Houston song. The rhythms and energy are infectious!
Learning tracks are also available.
I was honored today to receive a letter from Renee Porzel, International President, notifying me of my advancement to Master Music Arranger!
I’ve added two new contest arrangements to my list….’With a Song in My Heart’ is a powerful contest ballad (suitable for advanced level). Also, a new contest uptune, ‘Atlantic City Medley,’ has just been added, along with learning track information.
For show repertoire, I’ve just arranged Whitney Houston’s dance-pop favorite, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and a cute novelty about driving along the NJ shore, ‘On the Way to Cape May.’ Both songs have learning tracks available.
Congratulations to Northern Beaches Chorus, who in June won the Sydney Eisteddfod Community Choir contest singing my arrangement of ‘Happy Together’ in their package! Sharon Cartwright, Team coordinator and Marketing Manager wrote, ‘Our director, Linda Wareham, just knew we’d fall in love with it, and it really shows in our performance.’
Having just received copyright clearance, my arrangement of ‘Octopus’s Garden’ is now available. Check out this fun Beatles novelty.
Many thanks to Joanne Oosterhoff (joanne@oosterhoff.info) for designing my new website. She’s been a pleasure to work, making it possible for me to easily update my arrangements list and make manuscripts and sound clips available to interested singers!
